The Thistle

I have loved Scottish Thistle for as long as I can remember. As a child I enjoyed watching them blow in the wind. It amazed me how the butterflies could land on them to drink sweet nectar without being harmed. The two butterflies featured in this piece are the same species. The color of their wings depends on your angle. Both of these swirl into one cohesive thought. Life, love, and God are all about perspective. The angle from which we choose to experience them makes all the difference.
